Lunch in the Library- Lunch in the Library starts Thursday, Sept. 1 during your lunch shift. If you like to read, talk, or eat, please join us. We meet every Thursday during lunch.

Chipotle- Reminder: Chipotle RHS Touch Down Club fundraiser is tonight. 4151 Sterling Ave from 4-8 mention your support and they get 50% of proceeds.

Basketball Meeting- There will be a girls basketball meeting on Tuesday after school. It will last till 3 pm. This is for all ladies who are in playing basketball. The meeting will be in room 26. Come fly with us.

Satellite- Do you want to help build a satellite? Do you want to accept the challenge of going to space? Then stop by Mr. Colston’s room, 229, to sign up to receive information. We need people interested in management, engineering, computer programming, marketing, journalism and photography. Get ready for the Raytown Space Program.

Boys Basketball- Boys Basketball Off-Season Conditioning will start Monday August 22nd in the weight room by the football field if you are not playing or involved in a Fall Sport. We will workout every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-4 pm in the weight room.

Welcome Back Spirit Week- Student Council hopes everyone has had a great first week of school, and taken the first steps towards a successful school year. Come on out to Open House, and to the football game to support your Bluejays against Truman. If you have any questions, find someone in Student Council, or see Mr. Reichert in Room 224.

Seniors- Seniors (male/ female) interested in participating in the 2017 Delta Sigma Theta Cotillion. Cotillion – is a youth development and scholarship program for college-bound high school seniors. Please pick up an application from Mrs. Williams in room 211.

Hall Freezes- Hall Freezes will begin on Monday August 22nd. Please be to class on time.

FCCLA- Our first FCCLA meeting of the year will be Tuesday 8/23. We will go over the calendar for the year, dues, officers, as well as ideas for the school year. The meeting will be right after school until 3. Stop by room 100 and talk to Ms. Ruhman if you are unable to attend.

Cross Country- If you are interested in joining the Cross Country team because you like to run, want to stay in shape for another season or just want to get in shape and have some fun, they meet after school in the upper Chitwood building behind the gym. Everyone is welcome. If you have questions, you can contact Mrs. Lisa Ruhman or Mr. Ambelang.

Track- Track Athletes please turn in uniforms after school at the track from 2:30-3:00. Please don’t bring them to any of the coaches during the day.

Lockers- May 23 will be locker clean out day. Please make sure your locker is completely empty.

Cross Country- All students interested in getting in shape for any season while having a little fun at some local trails and parks, be sure to sign up for the Cross Country Summer Camp. See Mr. Ambelang or Mrs. Ruhman for information. Register soon.

Football- Looking for some summer fun? The Raytown Football team is hosting a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament and Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, June 25th at Raytown High. Trophies and prizes will be given out for 1st and 2nd place. There will also be a consolation final. Cost is $30 per team ($10 per player). Before the tournament, Criss Cakes will be cooking an all you can eat Pancake and Sausage breakfast. Tickets for this event are $8. Please help us make some dough for our team.
